Becoming a Resource Therapist requires completion of two training programs.

Becoming a Resource therapist requires completion of the two day foundation training in Resource therapy followed by the 8 day clinical qualification in Resource therapy. Interested therapists are then able to go on to continue training and complete the advanced clinical and train the trainer qualification. At the end of the clinical qualification therapists will be able to successfully work with the parts of the subconscious to ensure that they are all ‘normal’ that is that all parts are intrinsically at peace within the person, that they are all efficiently helpful to the person and that each part is in the conscious at the most appropriate time.

Step one: Learning about the formation and nature of resource states.

Step two: Understanding the 8 pathological considerations (Vaded with fear, rejection, confusion, disappointment, Retro original and avoidant, Dissonant and Conflicted) that affect resources and their ability to function.

Step three: Learning and understanding the appropriate actions for working with these conditions.

Step four: Understanding and learning how to apply these actions so that states can return to their ‘original' or 'normal' condition.

Both the foundation and clinical trainings are conducted in small groups, they involve demonstrations and opportunitites to practise and grow skills. The trainings are interactive and group members are encouraged to be involved in discussion style learning. There will be ample opportunity for questions and comments. The training is established in a 'hear, see, do' format. The overall goal of Resource therapy is to ensure that the parts that are involved in the issues of now become ‘normal’ in their functioning. On completion of the clinical training participants will have the opportunity to be listed on the Resource Therapy International website https://www.resourcetherapyinternational.com
